Terms & Conditions

Pagora respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and business data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information across our platform.

Effective date: March 17, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Pagora. By creating a workspace, accessing our dashboard, or otherwise using our platform, website, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, to create a Pagora workspace. By signing up, you represent that all registration information you submit is accurate and that you'll keep it that way.

3. Use of the Platform

Pagora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes, subject to your subscription plan. This includes creating workspaces, launching sites, inviting team members, and using the features made available to your plan tier.

We may introduce new features, deprecate old ones, or adjust plan limits (such as the number of sites or seats) with reasonable advance notice.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys.
  • All activity that occurs under your workspace, including actions taken by team members you invite.
  • Assigning roles and permissions appropriately, and removing access promptly when a team member leaves.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Fees & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle, as selected at checkout. Unless stated otherwise:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a separate agreement.
  • If a payment fails, we'll attempt to retry it and may suspend access to paid features until resolved.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Publish content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes another party's rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other workspaces, infrastructure, or accounts.
  • Transmit malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
  • Use the platform to process payments for restricted or illegal goods and services.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service without our written consent.

We may suspend or remove content, or restrict access, where we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

7. Intellectual Property

Pagora retains all rights to the platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and underlying technology. You retain all rights to the content you upload or publish through your sites — we don't claim ownership over your products, copy, images, or brand. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability and publish our uptime commitments on our Security page. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where practical. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pagora and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, or use the Service in a way that creates legal or security risk. Upon termination, you'll have 30 days to export your data before it's permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pagora, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, it will be settled by binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as set out in your applicable order form.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
